Despite being widely celebrated as a national treasure and an environmentalist hero, David Attenborough showed his true colours last week when he forgot your lovely Aunty Sue was turning 63 on Wednesday.
In what can be described as a callous and vindictive move, Sue received nothing of note from the acclaimed documentary star despite the fact that she watched 7 episodes of Blue Planet on its release in 2006.
In spite of the severity of this slight on Sue’s special day, when asked to comment, Attenborough’s office carelessly responded: ‘Mr Attenborough has never met or had contact with this woman, how can he be expected to send her a birthday card’.
